On August 11, ‘It’s Showtime’ host and comedian Vice Ganda explained his absence from the Kapuso-Kapamilya noontime show.

On his X post (formerly Twitter), Vice jokingly responded to a netizen noting how much they miss the noontime show host.

Vice then revealed that he’s been working on a project with Amazon.

He also confirmed that they plan to film the Season 2 of Beksplorer in September.

Aside from confirming his upcoming projects, Vice also expressed how much he appreciates his partner Ion Perez.

He even posted a vlog showing Perez cooking pancakes at home.

Viewers had various speculations about the absence of the noontime show host, with some surmising that Vice already got suspended.

The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) summoned the producers of ‘It’s Showtime’ after Vice and Ion’s cake-eating bit.

However, despite the summons from the government office, MTRCB had not handed down any penalty for Vice and Ion.
