On September 7, artist Ria Atayde revealed her family’s reaction to her daring scenes in ‘Nag-Aapoy na Damdamin.’
At the media event for the TV teleserye ‘Nag-Aapoy na Damdamin,’ which LionhearTV covered, Atayde cited her White Castle photoshoot experience when discussing her daring scenes in the series.

“Feel ko rin kasi, it came at a time where I’ve already–na-expose ko na rin ‘yung sarili ko na capable ako or open ako to do things like that. [I mean]– I did pose for White Castle, so I feel like that on its own was medyo nagpapakita na, willing ako to do things like that. So parang okay lang.”
She then disclosed how her family, relatives, and friends reacted to her performance after her daring scenes in the Kapatid series.
“If anything, ‘yung men ng family ko hindi lang talaga nanood. Mga pinsan kong lalaki, tatay ko, kapatid ko. Okay lang, merited naman, valid.
“But yeah, friends ko, ‘Oh my gosh!’ Ganon lang. Wala naman silang masabi hanggang ganon lang. Tsaka I’m 31 naman na. Parang come on, it’s 2023.”
As for their characterization, Atayde also discussed how the stars separate themselves from their roles after every scene.
“I think conscious effort talaga na paghiwalayin ‘yung pagkatao namin sa character, kasi kung hindi baka mabaliw kami ng di oras eh. Alam mo ‘yun, sobrang– oo eh. So as much as possible, conscious effort talaga from all of us na ipagpag ‘yung at the end of the day. Parang kapag nakapangbihis na kami ng kami, okay na.”
As for ‘Nag-aapoy na Damdamin,’ the Kapatid series stars JC De Vera, Ria Atayde, Tony Labrusca, and Jane Oineza.
Catch the much-awaited face-off moment for Oineza (Olivia/ Claire), De Vera (Philip), Atayde (Melinda), and Labrusca (Lucas), wherein Lucas would finally see Claire as the wife of his mortal enemy, Philip.
Under the direction of FM Reyes, ‘Nag-aapoy na Damdamin’ airs from Monday to Friday, 3:50 PM, on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, iWantTFC, TFC, A2Z, and TV5.
