On September 18, actress Claudine Barretto reacted to the wedding rumors between Julia Barretto and Gerald Anderson.
During the Luminaire: Urban Smiles Dental Clinic’s 10th Anniversary Ball and Dr. RFD’s Birthday Celebration, Claudine did not confirm the rumors but remarked she was happy for Julia.
“Nako, that’s not an event for this, ha. No, no, I’m happy for her– I’m really, really happy for her. Siyempre anak ko ‘yun eh.”
Earlier, Julia refuted the rumors about her and Gerald having a ‘secret wedding.’
Aside from her niece, Claudine also shared an update about her sister Gretchen Barretto.
“Okay naman, okay naman ‘yung ate ko. Actually kasi, namatay si Tita Ethel, nagka-COVID kasi ako, so hindi ako nakapunta sa ano burol ng ex-manager ko. And so hindi rin ako maalagaan ng ate ko, so ayun. She’s doing very well, beautiful and happy.”
As for her upcoming projects, she revealed that she has a teleserye and a movie deal under negotiations.
“May mga pinag-uusapan, may mga negosasyong nangyayari for a teleserye and also for a movie. Pero, confidential pa siya eh.”
