Over the weekend, the temporary replacement program for ‘It’s Showtime,’ ‘It’s Your Lucky Day,’ made its debut. How did it perform in the TV ratings?
The pilot episode of ABS-CBN’s noontime show took place on Saturday, October 14. According to Nielsen NUTAM People ratings, the show appeared to be gradually gaining traction with its audience following the suspension of ‘It’s Showtime.’
‘It’s Your Lucky Day’ debuted with a rating of 2.3 percent, securing the 17th spot in the ratings chart. This initial rating was 0.6 percent lower than ‘It’s Showtime’s’ 2.9 percent rating on Friday, October 13.
In contrast, rival noontime shows like ‘E.A.T.’ and ‘Eat Bulaga!’ took the lead with ratings of 4.6 percent and 3.7 percent, respectively.
On the other hand, Kantar’s rating report showed ‘It’s Your Lucky Day’ secured the second position with a rating of 5.8 percent. ‘Eat Bulaga!’ ranked first in Kantar’s survey with 6.2 percent, while ‘E.A.T.’ came in third with 5.1 percent.

Although ‘It’s Your Lucky Day’ received a lukewarm response on traditional television, its pilot episode created quite a buzz on social media. The hashtag #ItsYourLuckyDayNa became the top trending topic on Twitter Philippines, along with hashtags related to Francine Diaz and Seth Fedelin.
One of the most widely shared moments from the pilot episode was when Luis Manzano humorously announced that they were making history by announcing their last two weeks on their pilot episode.
