The hosts of ‘It’s Your Lucky Day’ bid an emotional farewell on their final day, leaving viewers with mixed feelings on Friday, October 27.
The show, which had stepped in for ‘It’s Showtime’ during its 12-day suspension following an incident involving Vice Ganda and Ion Perez, wrapped up its temporary run with heartfelt messages.
Leading the farewell was Luis Manzano, joined by his wife, Jessy Mendiola, expressing their gratitude for the opportunity to provide a brief respite from daily concerns and to bring momentary joy to their audience.
Luis Manzano remarked, “It’s our great honor na magpasaya sa inyong lahat nang panandalian para mapawi ang inyong problema. At sa ating ‘Showtime’ family, we welcome you back.”
He continued, “Maraming-maraming salamat sa pagpapatuloy sa inyong tahanan at itutuloy n’yo rin ang kasiyahan. Mga ka-Lucky, sabay-sabay po tayong magdasal. Kapit lang. Sabi nga nilang lahat, malay naman natin this is not goodbye.”
The ensemble of ‘It’s Your Lucky Day’ includes Melai Cantiveros, Jennica Garcia, Robi Domingo, Francine Diaz, Kyle Echarri, Seth Fedelin, Negi, Long Mejia, Petite, and Divine Tetay.
On the show’s final day, the program’s bosses made a surprise appearance to express their appreciation for the hosts.
