In the midst of speculations surrounding the relationship between his son Ricci Rivero and Los Baños, Laguna Councilor Leren Mae Bautista, Ruzcko Rivero, the father of the basketball player, has ignited further curiosity.
In a recent Instagram post dated October 22, 2023, Ruzcko appeared to allude to the relationship.
Though Ruzcko’s post didn’t directly mention the situation, its content was intriguing. He began with the statement, “Yun naman ang hindi tutuo” followed by a smiling face with heart-shaped eyes emoji. The subsequent lines seemed to contain veiled comments.
Ruzcko emphasized the significance of “maayos na ugali”, “respeto sa minahal”, and avoiding any form of “pakitang tao para mapag-usapan”.
His message stated, “Plus, importante yung maayos na ugali at pag respeto sa minamahal mo at hindi lang pakitang tao para mapag-usapan, yun naman ang sobrang layo at yan ang sigurado ako” with an added thumbs up emoji.

Furthermore, Ruzcko affectionately referred to the individuals in a selfie he shared as “mga anak”, which included Leren. He concluded the post with a blessing: “May God bless you always mga anak… #RiveroBrothers #RiveroFam.”
The photo featured Ruzcko alongside his sons Ricci, Paolo, and Gelo, Leren, and Paolo’s girlfriend, Krish. Both Ricci and Leren responded to the post with heart emojis. Leren went a step further by reposting the picture on her Instagram Story, captioning it with “Happy Sunday [heart emoji].”
Ricci Rivero, on the previous day, October 21, publicly confirmed his relationship with Leren, praising her as a “real QUEEN” and “the right one.” He made it clear that their relationship wouldn’t be concealed and underlined the absence of any third party attempting to interfere, as they were content with their status.
Leren, addressing allegations from certain online critics who accused her of breaking up a prior relationship, refuted these claims and provided her own perspective on the situation.
