On September 18, Kapamilya star Seth Fedelin remarked that he was happy with the success of his pairing with Francine Diaz, otherwise known as ‘FranSeth,’ despite fans’ initial reactions.
At the Luminaire: Urban Smiles Dental Clinic’s 10th Anniversary Ball and Dr. RFD’s Birthday Celebration, which LionhearTV covered, Fedelin thanked those fans who eventually supported their on-screen pairing, especially with the success of the Kapamilya series ‘Dirty Linen.’
“Sobrang hindi ko mapaliwanag. Kami ni Chin, happy kami and nagpapasalamat kami kahit ang daming pinagdaanan, ang daming gulong nangyari, pero eventually natanggap ng tao at tinangkilik ng tao ‘yung Dirty Linen.
“At kahit papaano naman, talagang nag invest kami sa isa’t-isa na kami na ‘yun, kami na ‘yung mag-partner, kami na ‘yung magka-love team. Talagang pinaghandaan namin at pinag-usapan namin, pinagplanuhan namin ‘yung mga gagawin namin at worth siya.”
He thanked ABS-CBN for trusting him and Diaz with their recent projects like ‘Fractured.’
“Salamat sa panginoon at sa mga big boss na nagtitiwala sa amin Francine sa kung anong kaya naming ibigay sa bawat proyektong binibigay nila sa amin.”
He also addressed questions about their relationship status, reiterating that he and Diaz weren’t forcing themselves into a commitment.
“Hindi namin pinipilit, hindi namin minamadali na hindi kami nagpapadala sa mga nababasa namin na, ‘Maging mag-jowa na kayo’ ganyan-ganyan. ‘Ba’t di pa kayo, ba’t di mo pa ligawan si Francine?'”
However, Fedelin confirmed that he is open to their closeness evolving into a romantic relationship.
“May pag-uusap po kami na kaming dalawa lang po ‘yung may alam and I think ‘yun nga lagi kong sinasabi, kung dadating ‘yun, why not?”
As for the pair’s recent projects, Fedelin and Diaz starred in various Kapamilya projects such as ‘Dirty Linen’ and ‘Fractured.’
