On November 3, Ninuno Media’s Director Jason Paul Laxamana highlighted how Viva saw that ALAMAT was ready for their first solo concert.
At the media conference for ALAMAT’s ‘Dagundong,’ which LionhearTV covered, Laxamana noted how Viva decided to mount the first solo concert of the Pinoy Pop (PPop) group.
“It’s more of Viva’s decision or perception na ready na ang boys na mag-first concert kasi nagkakaroon na rin sila ng regular gigs dito sa Viva camp, and we sold out, and then isa sila sa mga sensational acts kapag may mga PPop conventions sa Araneta. So parang, it’s more of the next step for them.”
He also acknowledged the clamor from their fans in launching the group’s first solo concert.
“And clamor din ng mga fans na magkaroon na rin ng solo concert ang Alamat. Especially since marami na rin silang mga songs, two albums, and maraming singles. So ayun, I think ‘yun ‘yung formula para masabi namin na okay, pwede na natin silang isalang sa first solo concert nila.”
He then revealed what the fans could expect with the upcoming concert event.
“Gusto nating mag-enjoy ‘yung mga Magiliw, parang from the very first song ng Alamat, hanggang dito sa bagong album nila, maririnig nila lahat ‘yan. A lot of them may mga bagong areglo, and then mayroon din silang mga solo acts, to show people how they are as individuals. Kasi, they’re in a boyband eh, they’re in a group, lagi silang nakikita, pero this time, they also want the boys shine individually.”
