Talent manager Ogie Diaz has voiced his heartfelt concerns for his friend, Dennis Padilla, who continues to face estrangement from his children with Marjorie Barretto.
The issue emerged when Dennis Padilla recently sent a birthday message to his goddaughter, Dani Barretto, but allegedly received no response.
During a segment on the ‘Showbiz Update’ YouTube channel, Ogie Diaz shared his sympathy for Dennis, saying, “Naaawa na naman ako kay Dennis Padilla.”
Dennis Padilla has a tradition of greeting all his children on their birthdays, and he had sent Dani Barretto a birthday message. However, he reportedly revealed to Ogie that his children have not responded to his greetings.
Ogie Diaz pointed out that Dennis must be praying for the day when his children will acknowledge his greetings.
Diaz remarked, “Grabe ‘no? ‘Yung ano lang, ‘yung rereplyan lang o i-appreciate lang ‘yung pagbati dahil naalala… Naaano lang ako, parang – hindi ko alam, ano ba ‘to? Itinakwil na ba nila si Dennis bilang tatay?”
Acknowledging his own perspective as a father, Ogie Diaz raised concerns about the unpredictability of life and urged Dennis to make amends with his children to avoid future regrets.
