On November 16, Talent manager and showbiz news reporter Ogie Diaz revealed whether Karla Estrada or the camp of KathNiel (Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla) reached out in response to the breakup rumors he recently reported.
At the media event for ‘In His Mother’s Eyes,’ which LionhearTV covered, Diaz remarked that neither Estrada nor the love KathNiel reached out to refute the breakup rumors.
“Wala naman.
“Hindi naman. Hindi naman kumokontak sa akin. Edi kung ganyan kumontak sa akin at gustong ilabas ‘yung panig edi ilalabas ko. Tayo naman, mga reporters tayo minsan may mga artista na pakikusapan tayo, ‘Psst, ibalato mo na sa akin ‘yan.’ May mga ganyan. Tayo naman di ba? Mapagbigay tayo.”
He then reiterated his disclaimer regarding the breakup rumors, clarifying that it remains an unconfirmed report.
“Ito ho ‘yung nakarating sa amin, hindi po ito confirmed, intayin natin kung anong sasabihin nila kung ano ‘yung totoo tungkol doon sa nabalitaan natin.
“Problema ‘yun ng nakaka-interpret na ‘yun ang kanilang interpretation.”
Amid the continuous questioning of the press, Diaz maintained that the report remained unconfirmed, but he mentioned that he hoped KathNiel would still be together.
“Again kung ano po ‘yung nabalitaan namin, hindi po ito confirmed, intayin po natin sila magsalita, basta at the end of the day, gusto ko sila pa rin.”
He also remarked that he would upload a vlog containing his reaction to the recent news that Kathryn Bernardo unfollowed Andrea Brillantes’ Instagram account and his message to the KathNiel fans and their viral response to his unconfirmed report.
Earlier, Diaz faced backlash from netizens after reporting on the rumors of KathNiel’s break up with him suggesting that Andrea Brillantes was the reason behind the rumored split.
