Unkabogable star Vice Ganda engaged in a discussion about the state of comedy in the Philippines today compared to earlier times.
The conversation was prompted by a viral performance featuring Vhong Navarro, Teddy Corpus, and Jugs Jugueta, who used Artificial Intelligence technology to impersonate legendary comedians Dolphy, Babalu, and Redford White.
Vice Ganda emphasized that comedians of today, including himself, are approaching comedy more cautiously, fearing that their humor might not be well-received by modern audiences.
He contrasted the current climate with the era of comedy icons like Dolphy, Babalu, and Redford White.
During the conversation, Vice Ganda expressed his concern, saying, “Tsaka dati nung panahon nila, mahirap nang magpatawa no’n.
