The general manager of PTV4, Ana Puod, and Willie Revillame had previously hinted at the host’s comeback after the ghost month, with plans for ‘Wowowin’ to resume its broadcast.
In September, Puod and Revillame discussed the TV host’s return, indicating that negotiations were underway. However, despite the initial press conference and the intention to commence activities after the ghost month, there has been no recent update on the status of ‘Wowowin.’
While many were hopeful for Willie Revillame’s return to TV before Christmas, it appears that navigating the complexities of hosting a show on a government station poses challenges. Government-funded operations require meticulous budget considerations, scrutinizing expenses to ensure responsible use of public funds.
There have been speculations that, as an alternative, ‘Wowowin’ might initially be broadcast on online platforms like YouTube or Facebook.
