On November 29, Viva artist Nikko Natividad considered working with director Darryl Yap a gamble with his career.
At the media conference for ‘Para Kang Papa Mo,’ which LionhearTV covered, Natividad cited the reaction of people close to him when they found out about his project with Yap.
He remarked that his gamble to take on the project gained him a new friend with the Viva director.
He then highlighted that the upcoming movie with Viva Films is a big break in his career.
“Nakikita ko rin ‘yung resulta ng project na ‘to and for me, fit siya sa akin, and sa 8 years ako, magna-9 years na ako sa showbiz, ngayon lang ako nabigyan ng big break na ganito na ang sarap pala sa pakiramdam na marami kang taping or shooting, marami kang kinakabisado.
“And para sa akin, lagi kong sinasabi na-pull off ko ‘to. Hindi man ako ganon na kagaling na actor, pero kung ikukumpara ko sa dating Nikko na last year or last two years, malayo siya.”
As for their movie, ‘Para Kang Papa Mo’ stars Mark Anthony Fernandez, Nikko Natividad, Jao Mapa, Eric Fructuoso, Ruby Ruiz, Zeus Collins, Kid Yambao, Rose Van Ginkel, Juliana Parizcova Segovia, Billy Jake Cortez, Gerard Acao, and Lowell Kip.
Under the direction and screenplay of Darryl Yap, ‘Para Kang Papa Mo’ opens in cinemas on December 13.
