Last December 17, Ara Mina together with Victor Silayan, and veteran actors Deborah Sun and Simon Ibarra will be joining the the indie film “Ang Babaeng Ayaw Mamatay” to be led by actor and producer Janna Dee.
Direk Ron Sapinoso will be directing the film with his assistant director Roi Neri.
The film is a period drama transitioning to modern times following a woman fighting to survive finding justice and true love.
Robin Padilla’s lookalike Diego Salvador will be joining the movie together with indie actors Julian Roxas, Dana Varona, Geraldine Aleria, and Reorey Carpio.
The production of the movie will begin in the first quarter of 2024. To date, there’s no confirmation yet on where it will be available, whether it is on cinemas or streaming platforms.
According to Ara Mina, she will be giving her full support to the movie which according to her will contribute to giving jobs to both fellow artists and production staff. It will also help that entertainment industry to thrive after being affected by the pandemic.
Meanwhile, Direk Ron shared that his passion for movie started during time of the late Fernando Poe Jr. where he enjoyed action films. This is his inspiration that’s why he decided to become a film director to create movies that he enjoys during his younger years and will resonate to the current moviegoers.
