On January 17, Kapamilya star KD Estrada thanked Dreamscape Entertainment and ABS-CBN for giving him the role in his first teleserye project in Pira-Pirasong Paraiso.
At the media conference for the Pira-Pirasong Paraiso finale, which LionhearTV covered, Estrada appreciated the level of trust that Dreamscape Entertainment and ABS-CBN gave him with his first teleserye role.
“The opportunity that [was] given to me and the fact that they trusted me kahit baguhan lang po ako sa acting, especially drama acting, they trusted me with this project, and I’m very thankful.”
He then praised his co-stars, whom he looked up to as a new teleserye star.
“And sa totoo lang, hindi ko po sinasabi, pero, I look up to every single one of the cast. I learned so much from every single one of them.
“Everytime na kinakausap ko sila or ka-eksena ko sila. I observe how they act, I observe how they play with the camera, and I take note of it– because it’s humbling to be a part of this project.”
He also admitted feeling intimidated with his scenes with Snooky Serna and Joseph Marco.
As for his character, Estrada emphasized how proud he was to take on the character in the Kapamilya afternoon drama.
“And I’m very proud to be that– I’m very proud of the character I portrayed.”
