‘Eat Bulaga’ host host Vic Sotto has expressed his willingness to collaborate with Vice Ganda, host of the rival noontime show ‘It’s Showtime,’ signaling potential joint projects in the future.
During a segment of his birthday celebration on ‘Eat Bulaga,’ Sotto responded positively when asked about the prospect of working with Vice Ganda. He made it clear that he holds no animosity towards the cast of ‘It’s Showtime.’
“It’s not impossible. Pero siguro in the future, why not?” Sotto remarked, indicating his openness to the idea. “Of course, wala akong pinipili.”
In regards to his potential involvement in the upcoming 2024 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF), which marks its 50th anniversary this year, Sotto hinted at surprises in store.
Sotto also teased an upcoming project that promises to deviate from his usual roles, though he refrained from disclosing further details.
“Iba naman. Iba na ang panahon ngayon so makakaasa sila ng kakaiba talaga,” Sotto commented, hinting at innovation in his future endeavors.
When pressed about the possibility of reprising his iconic character ‘Enteng Kabisote’ for the 2024 MMFF, Sotto playfully dodged the question with a “surprise” response and a mischievous glint in his eye.
‘Enteng Kabisote’ remains one of Sotto’s most beloved film personas, often featured prominently in the MMFF lineup.
In contrast, Vice Ganda’s recent involvement in the MMFF includes the 2022 film ‘Partners in Crime,’ co-starring Ivana Alawi.
