Unkabogable star Vice Ganda recently made light of the barrage of requests he receives from netizens, jokingly suggesting that he might start filing lawsuits against them.
The humorous remark came during his appearance on the ‘EXpecially For You’ segment.
In the segment aired last Friday, May 10, the Unkabogable Star mentioned the overwhelming number of demands he receives from online users.
“Itong mga madlang people ang daming ipinapagawa sakin. Gumawang Asoka Challenge, Piliin ang Pilipinas Challenge. Magdemanda na rin. Ang dami n’yong gusto ipagawa sakin,” Vice quipped.
His jest elicited laughter from his co-hosts, Jhong and Anne, adding to the lighthearted atmosphere of the show.
Vice continued to playfully engage with the topic, stating, “Ang dami n’yong request. Pipiliin ko doon kung anong gusto n’yo. Ano ba gusto n’yo pagbigyan ko? ‘Yung gumawa o magdemanda?”
A video clip of the comedian’s humorous exchange quickly circulated on social media, sparking speculation among netizens about whom Vice might be referring to when joking about lawsuits. Many surmised that it could be directed at Cristy Fermin, known for her candid commentary on showbiz matters.
Cristy Fermin has previously made critical remarks about Vice Ganda on her showbiz programs such as ‘Cristy Ferminute’ and ‘Showbiz Now Na,’ where she co-hosts with Romel Chika and Wendell Alvarez. Her comments have ranged from addressing Vice’s demeanor to past controversies, including issues about bad breath.
While Vice’s remarks were in jest, some believe they reflect the mounting complaints against Cristy Fermin. Recently, Sarah Lahbati’s parents filed a cyber libel case against Fermin, and just yesterday, Sharon Cuneta and Kiko Pangilinan lodged a complaint as well.
