After the end of his 12-year relationship with actress Kim Chiu, actor Xian Lim has publicly acknowledged his new romantic involvement with Iris Lee, a producer at Viva Entertainment.
Speaking with Esquire Philippines, Xian openly discussed his newfound happiness with Iris, highlighting her talents as a filmmaker and their collaborative partnership.
“Yes, I’m seeing Iris. Just to clear everything, to clear all the speculations. We are seeing each other and we are very happy. Iris is a talented filmmaker. She’s my producer, and she’s also my creative partner,” Xian disclosed.
Amid rumors linking Iris to the dissolution of his relationship with Kim, Xian unequivocally refuted any notions of infidelity or marital ties with Iris.
“These are the things I want to clarify. There’s no third party. That’s it. That plain and simple… I am not married. No one will truly know what is going on in a relationship,” he clarified. “Kaming dalawa lang [ni Kim] ang makakapagsabi… Hindi na kailangan pang magsabi kung sino’ng nagkulang.”
Xian further reminisced about his long-term bond with Kim, characterizing their time together as “beautiful” and stressing their mutual decision to transition to a lifelong friendship.
“It was a beautiful 12 years, and we worked it out. That’s why it lasted that long,” he expressed.
The announcement comes after Xian and Kim publicly disclosed their breakup last December, expressing gratitude for their supporters and requesting privacy as they navigate their respective paths forward.
