Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo candidly addressed misconceptions surrounding her split with fiancé Dominic Roque, clarifying that she was not the one who initiated the breakup.
Speaking with Nelson Canlas, Bea opened up about the sensitive topic, expressing discomfort over assumptions that she was responsible for ending their relationship.
“Hindi ako ‘yung nakipag-break,” Bea asserted, urging to move forward while maintaining respect for their past. “Let’s leave it in the past. It’s amicable. OK naman kami. I think it will be disrespectful to the relationship and to the other person to talk about it,” she explained.
The actress emphasized her intention to handle the situation with dignity and to focus on preserving the positive aspects of their past together.
Bea and Dominic’s relationship timeline began in January 2021, with their engagement announced in July of the same year.
