The Kapamilya loveteam of KD Estrada and Alexa Ilacad delighted fans with a heartwarming performance at their sold-out concert titled ‘Add to Heart,’ which took place in San Juan City last Friday.
The event was a dream come true for KDLex, as they showcased their talents in front of a supportive audience from various parts of the Philippines.
In an interview, KD expressed his admiration for Alexa’s performance, highlighting her dedication and energy despite the demanding schedule. “I’m so proud of Alexa. The way you handled yourself. The way you performed. Wala ka tulog, the way you managed to give the kind of energy is amazing,” KD remarked.
Alexa reciprocated the praise, noting KD’s growth as a performer. “I liked seeing him open up as a performer and getting comfortable on stage. I am sure KD will keep getting better,” she commented.
Reflecting on the concert’s success, Alexa described the experience as surreal, emphasizing how grateful she was for the opportunity.
During the performance, KD surprised everyone with a special moment. He pretended to propose to Alexa after a production number, playfully asking, “Can I say something crazy? Will you marry me?”
In response, Alexa humorously quipped, “Can I say something crazier, ask me again in a couple of years.”
The audience cheered as the duo continued to captivate with their performances. KD’s rendition of ‘She Will Be Loved’ and ‘Thinking Out Loud,’ accompanied by his impressive guitar skills, was particularly well-received.
KD also showcased his musical chemistry with Bugoy Drilon during their duet on the OPM hit ‘Paano na Kaya,’ a moment that highlighted his musical influences.
Alexa, on the other hand, shared a touching duet with OPM icon Yeng Constantino, expressing her gratitude for Yeng’s inspiration and support.
“I am very excited for what Alexa will do as a songwriter. Don’t be shy to release your songs. You won’t because you are good. Always remember, you are one of the most beautiful stars in the industry,” Yeng praised Alexa.
In addition to their performances, Alexa unveiled her unreleased track ‘Kung Naging Tayo,’ which resonated deeply with the audience for its heartfelt lyrics about missed opportunities in love.

“This is giving back what they want and deserve,” KD expressed his gratitude.
