Glaiza De Castro and Rhian Ramos, first starred together for their roles in the girl’s love (GL) series ‘The Rich Man’s Daughter,’ are set to reunite on-screen after almost a decade.
Wide International Film Productions announced this highly anticipated collaboration on Tuesday.
In a series of viral posts across various social media platforms, the film producer revealed that both actresses have agreed to star in a new movie together. This decision came after enthusiastic teasing from fans during the FreenBecky Grand Fanmeeting at the Araneta Coliseum in 2023.
“It’s now official,” Wide International declared on Facebook, confirming the exciting news.
De Castro and Ramos previously captivated audiences with their roles in ‘The Rich Man’s Daughter,’ which premiered on GMA Network in 2015. The series, one of the first primetime GL shows in Southeast Asia, garnered widespread acclaim. Their on-screen chemistry as Jade and Althea, dubbed the “RaStro” love team, was particularly praised.
Following the announcement, fans flooded social media with expressions of excitement, having long awaited the RaStro reunion.
