Kapuso actress Sanya Lopez recently shared her emotional struggles regarding her family during an interview on ‘Fast Talk with Boy Abunda’ on June 12.
In the discussion, Sanya revealed that she is currently facing personal challenges that have affected her relationship with her family. When Boy Abunda asked her about the aspects of family life she feels capable of handling and those she finds overwhelming, Sanya’s responses indicated a deep emotional turmoil.
“Kaya ko yung laro na lahat kami magkakahiwalay sa ngayon dahil alam naming may mangyayari in the future na maganda,” Sanya said, referring to the sacrifices she and her family are making.
She elaborated, “Kumbaga, may mga bagay ka na kailangan isakripisyo sa ngayon kung hindi kayo magkakasama, but later on, alam mo naman na para rin sa ating lahat yon.”
However, Sanya admitted that the thought of her family giving up on her is something she cannot bear. ‘Yung pagmamahal nila sa yo, sinusukuan na,” she said, visibly emotional.
Boy Abunda then asked if she ever felt that her family was giving up on her.
Sanya confessed that her family’s misconceptions about her career add to her burden. Akala nila (ang dami-daming pera, sobrang yaman),” she said, holding back tears.
In addition to her personal struggles, Sanya is currently starring in the film ‘Playtime,’ which is now showing in cinemas nationwide.
