SSS members who have upgraded to the new UnionBank SSS UMID Pay Card will qualify for the draw by simply sending money or paying bills via UnionBank online using their SSS UMID account. The account must also maintain at least Php2,000.

“I was overjoyed and full of emotion when I found out. I couldn’t believe it, but it’s true (Tuwang-tuwa po ako, mangiyak-ngiyak nga po ako nung nalaman ko. ‘Di po ako makapaniwala, pero totoo po pala talaga),” said Rhealyn.
Like many SSS members waiting for their UMID ID, Rhealyn upgraded to the UnionBank SSS UMID Pay Card to expedite the process. Her new SSS UMID Pay Card and UnionBank account came in handy when she needed to file for an SSS loan.
“I needed a bank account to receive my loan. So, I decided to apply for the UMID Pay Card, so that I had a valid ID as well as an ATM card. The loan automatically got credited to my new UnionBank account afterwards (Kailangan ko daw po ng bangkong mapapasukan nung pera. Kaya kumuha na rin po ako nung UMID Pay Card, para na rin po may valid ID ako, pati ATM card. ‘Matic na po, doon na po pumasok sa UnionBank account ko yung pera).”
Rhealyn also uses her UnionBank SSS UMID Pay Card for online fund transfers and other transactions, since her current payroll bank is reportedly not as accessible as UnionBank. “When my salary comes in, I transfer it immediately to my UnionBank account. That’s what I use to withdraw, what I use to pay any bills I may have (Kapag po pumapasok sweldo, nililipat ko po agad sa UnionBank account ko. Doon po ako nag-wi-withdraw, doon po ako nagbabayad ng kung anu-anong bills ko po).”
Rhealyn shared that the UnionBank SSS UMID Pay Card has made her life easier, and that since winning her new Yamaha NMax motorcycle—which she now uses as her main transportation to get to work—her friends, family members, and even her co-workers have all decided to apply for a Pay Card, too.
