French-Filipino athlete Emilienne Vigier has publicly praised Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto for their standout performances in the film ‘Un/happy For You.’
Following her viewing of the movie, Vigier shared her admiration on Instagram.
In her Instagram story, Vigier posted a photo from the cinema and expressed her pride in their work. “I didn’t really get to watch a lot of Filipino films growing up, so to be honest, I’ve never really seen any of your films together @garciajoshuae @juliabarretto or any directed by @awarewolves until now … and I can’t wait to watch more because of this movie,” she wrote.

Vigier commended both actors for their significant impact, saying, “You all have my utmost respect for the craft you all have. Making so many Filipinos happy and comforted with your undeniable talent all around the world. Salamat.”
She further praised Garcia and the film, stating, “I couldn’t feel prouder of you @garciajoshuae. I am beyond moved. This deserves an award. Period. I’ve been excited all year and this is exactly why.” Vigier described the film as “packed with love and lessons that heal so many wounds” and appreciated the emotional depth conveyed, adding, “An honor to have seen this come to life @moiradelatorre. Pinaluha mo lang ako with your voice as usual Lani…. Hahahahahha.”
Vigier previously shared glimpses of her experiences with Garcia, including their attendance at Coldplay’s Tokyo concert in November 2023 and celebrating Garcia’s birthday with sweet photos on Instagram.
Garcia has addressed rumors linking him romantically to Vigier. He commented, “Hindi ko siya dini-deny. It’s just that, ako and her decided not to share it to everyone. Kasi ‘yung relationship na ‘yan ay kami lang naman ‘yung parte dun, e.” Garcia emphasized that his past relationships have led him to prefer a more private approach to his romantic life.
Before this, Garcia was rumored to be dating beauty vlogger Bella Racelis, and his last known public relationship was with Julia Barretto.
