Two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo has a surprising pick if his life story were to be turned into a movie or documentary.
The Filipino gymnast revealed that he would want TV host and actor Luis Manzano to portray him on the big screen.
During an interview, Yulo was asked who he envisioned playing him if his life were ever dramatized. “Feeling ko si Kuya Luis,” Yulo joked, adding that he isn’t entirely sure because he doesn’t watch much television due to his rigorous training schedule.
Yulo and Manzano have built a rapport following Yulo’s appearance on Manzano’s YouTube show, ‘Luis Listens,’ alongside Yulo’s girlfriend, Chloe San Jose. Their interaction during the interview left a strong impression on Yulo, making Manzano his top choice for the role.
Manzano also shared a photo on Instagram with Yulo and San Jose to promote the interview, captioning it, “Abang abang sa napakakulet na interview sa LL kasama si @c_edrielzxs and @chloeanjeleigh! Laughtrip!!”

On August 31, he received a P5 million reward from DigiPlus and ArenaPlus for his stellar performance at the Paris Olympics, where he claimed two gold medals in the floor exercise and vault events.
