Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano, known as the popular love team DonBelle, are set to star in a new romantic series, ‘How to Spot a Red Flag.’
Following the success of their previous TV series ‘Can’t Buy Me Love,’ the on-screen couple is gearing up to charm audiences once again in this original project.
The series will feature a star-studded cast that includes Jameson Blake, Angel Aquino, Christian Vasquez, Benjie Paras, Mylene Dizon, Esnyr, and Kira Balinger. Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Dwein Baltazar, the light romantic drama promises to deliver feel-good entertainment to viewers.
‘How to Spot a Red Flag’ follows the story of a spunky barista, portrayed by Belle, who finds herself torn between two attractive men—a confident bad boy (Jameson) and a charming good boy (Donny). Both men are catfishing her, but despite recognizing the red flags, she questions whether true love can still emerge from the deception.
This series marks the first local original series collaboration between ABS-CBN and Viu, continuing their successful partnership after adapting hits like ‘The Broken Marriage Vow,’ ‘Flower of Evil’ and ‘What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim.’
With ‘How to Spot a Red Flag,’ DonBelle fans can look forward to another dose of romance and excitement as the love team brings their signature charm to the small screen.
