GMA Network’s weekend singing competitions, The Clash 2024 and The Voice Kids (TVK), have quickly become viewer favorites, catapulting them to the top of the ratings chart.
According to the latest Nielsen NUTAM People survey, both The Clash 2024 and TVK’s pilot episodes secured high ratings, placing them at the top of their respective categories.
On Saturday, September 14, The Clash 2024 debuted as the top Saturday show in the country, earning a 10.6 percent rating. However, this is notably lower than the previous season’s premiere, The Clash 2023, which garnered a 12.4 percent rating during its January 22, 2023 launch—1.8 percent higher than this year’s debut.
Similarly, The Voice Kids posted impressive ratings. On Sunday, September 15, it dominated entertainment programs with a 12.7 percent rating. This marks a significant improvement over the 6.7 percent pilot rating of The Voice Kids Season 5, which was expected as it aired on the limited platforms of ABS-CBN.
In addition to The Clash 2024 and TVK, other weekend shows on the leaderboard include Magpakailanman in second place with a 9.5 percent rating, followed by Abot Kamay Na Pangarap with 8.6 percent, and Pepito Manaloto close behind at 8.5 percent. With a 7.7 percent rating, 24 Oras Weekend rounded out the top five Saturday programs.
