In honor of the upcoming second anniversary of ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,’ actor-director Coco Martin will take the popular series to Sydney, Australia, headlining a special event during the 2024 Pasko Festival.
This show also serves as the grand finale of The Filipino Channel’s (TFC) anniversary celebrations, allowing Martin and his fellow cast members to connect directly with their overseas fans.
“Ito ang pagkakataon na makapagpasalamat personally sa kanila para sa pagmamahal at pagtangkilik na ginagawa nila sa lahat ng shows ng ABS-CBN,” Martin shared. “So ito naman ‘yung time na makabawi sa kanila at maparamdam namin kung gaano namin sila kamahal.”
With the show nearing its two-year mark, Martin hinted that this performance will only be the start of anniversary celebrations, acknowledging the lasting impact ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo’ has had on its audience both locally and internationally.
“Dito namin sisimulan ‘yung pagpapasalamat sa dalawang taon ng ‘Batang Quiapo’,” he added with a laugh, “Five years nalang, ‘Probinsyano’ na!”
Set to be a heartfelt reunion with fans, the Sydney show will offer Martin and the cast an opportunity to thank viewers whose support has made ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo’ a standout success on Philippine television.
