Kapamilya stars Francine Diaz and Seth Fedelin, known collectively as FranSeth, charmed fans and media at the grand mediacon for their Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2024 entry, ‘My Future You.’
Held at 38 Valencia Events Place in Quezon City, the event showcased the pair’s deep connection, leading many to speculate about the real status of their relationship.
While holding hands during the event, Seth and Francine opened up about their journey, emphasizing the importance of trust and patience in building their bond.
Seth spoke candidly about the challenges he faced in earning the trust of Francine’s family, a significant step in their growing closeness.
“Hindi po biro ang pinagdaanan ko para makuha ulit ang tiwala ng magulang ni Francine,” Seth shared. “Kailangan kong patunayan na totoo lahat ng sinasabi ko. Kapag kakampi mo ang magulang, malaking pogi points ‘yun.”
He added that their relationship is built on respect, commitment, and a conscious effort to honor promises made to Francine’s family.
Francine, for her part, expressed gratitude for Seth’s presence in her life, calling him her best friend.
“Grateful po ako na mayroon akong Seth sa buhay ko. Hindi biro ‘yung bigyan ka ng Diyos ng someone na matatawag mong best friend,” she said emotionally.
The FranSeth tandem emphasized that their bond has grown naturally over time, and they are taking things step by step.
“Kung nasaan kami ngayon, hindi po namin ‘yun minadali,” Francine shared. “May tamang panahon para sa lahat.”
Seth echoed her sentiment, saying he is content with the trust of Francine’s family, even enjoying simple moments like dropping her off and picking her up from school.
The pair also expressed excitement and gratitude for their film ‘My Future You,’ which secured a spot in the MMFF’s 50th-anniversary lineup. Produced by Regal Entertainment, which is celebrating its 60th anniversary, the film combines romance and fantasy in a heartwarming narrative that explores love, family, and destiny.
