Actor Gerald Anderson recently appeared on ‘The Men’s Room,’ a One News PH talk show hosted by Janno Gibbs and Stanley Chi, where the conversation veered toward his past relationships and controversies.
Despite the lighthearted nature of the show, the discussion brought up some of the actor’s most talked-about romantic links.
When asked if things were now okay between him and “Letter B,” Gerald was visibly surprised but managed to answer candidly: “Hindi ko masagot ng 100%, pero siyempre sa side ko, okay naman. Ang tagal na ‘nun eh. Ayun lang.”
Though no names were explicitly mentioned, fans believe “Letter B” refers to actress Bea Alonzo, Gerald’s former girlfriend. Their controversial 2019 breakup, which involved allegations of “ghosting,” remains one of the most widely discussed issues in local showbiz.
The conversation shifted to rumors involving Gerald and “Letter P,” which the actor immediately dismissed:
“Ang tagal naman ‘nun…Chismis lang ‘yun.”
Fans speculate the question referred to Pia Wurtzbach, whom Gerald worked with on the 2018 romantic drama ‘My Perfect You.’ Rumors of their romantic involvement surfaced after the movie’s release, with some claiming it played a role in Gerald’s split with Bea. However, Gerald has consistently denied these claims. Pia is now happily married to Jeremy Jauncey, putting the old rumors to rest.
Janno and Stanley also delved into Gerald’s social media habits, asking if he unfollows or deletes posts related to his exes. Gerald clarified his approach, saying: “Ina-unfollow ako, pero never ako [nag-unfollow]. Siyempre naman, bago naghiwalay, we used to cherish those moments na masaya kayo, ‘yun ‘yung perspective ko diyan.”
He added that he doesn’t delete photos of his past relationships from Instagram, saying, “Kahit i-check niyo.”
The actor remains in a happy relationship with Julia Barretto, whom he publicly confirmed as his girlfriend in 2021. Gerald has expressed in previous interviews that he sees Julia as someone he could marry in the future.
Aside from Bea Alonzo and Julia Barretto, Gerald has been romantically linked to other prominent names, including Kim Chiu, Sarah Geronimo, and Maja Salvador.
