Years after ‘Ika-6 na Utos’ captivated viewers with its intense and sometimes quirky confrontations, actress Ryza Cenon opened up about her initial doubts regarding a memorable scene in which she was directed to point a toy gun at co-star Sunshine Dizon.
Cenon, who played Georgia Ferrer, the mistress entangled in a love triangle with Rome Fuentabella (Gabby Concepcion) and his wife Emma Doqueza (Sunshine Dizon), looked back at the iconic toy gun scene during a TikTok video she posted on November 6.
In the series, Georgia and Emma’s feud often resulted in dramatic confrontations that captivated fans, including one unforgettable face-off in a toy shop.
“Actually, noong bina-block ‘yun noong time ng scene na ‘yun, nagke-question kami. ‘Huh, sure ba kayo na Nerf gun ‘yung itututok ko?’” Cenon shared, admitting that she initially questioned whether the use of a toy gun would make sense for such a tense moment.
However, the creative team explained that the use of a toy gun was intentionally humorous, adding a unique twist to the show’s signature drama. Cenon added, “Yun nga ang logic… itututok ang laruan mo, hindi totoo ‘yan. So parang, ah okay, it makes sense.”
