The hit Kapuso action-comedy series ‘Walang Matigas na Pulis sa Matinik na Misis,’ starring Senator Bong Revilla Jr. and Beauty Gonzalez, is set to return for a third season.
Beauty Gonzalez shared the exciting news during her recent guest appearance on ‘Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.’ “We’re very happy to bring another season,” she said, expressing gratitude to the show’s loyal supporters.
The series has garnered widespread success and critical acclaim, with Bong Revilla Jr. and Beauty Gonzalez earning Best Comedy Actor and Actress awards at the 2024 Box Office Awards.
Reflecting on her role, Beauty shared her pride in exploring a new genre. “Kaya ko palang magpatawa,” she said. “Comedy is challenging—it requires timing and wit to land jokes effectively without crossing any lines.”
The new season will continue to focus on family values while offering a fresh mix of humor and action. Fans can look forward to surprise celebrity guest appearances in every episode.
“Expect lots of fun, lambing, and of course, some punching,” Beauty teased.
Season 3 is slated to premiere on December 22, with Carmi Martin, Niño Muhlach, and Maey Bautista reprising their roles.
Based on the iconic 1994 film of the same name, ‘Walang Matigas na Pulis sa Matinik na Misis’ first aired as a series in 2023. Bong Revilla Jr. continues to play Bartolome “Bart/Tolome” Reynaldo, while Beauty Gonzalez takes on the role of Gloria Hernando-Reynaldo, originally portrayed by Rep. Lani Mercado.
Interestingly, Mercado, Bong’s real-life wife and co-star in the original film, personally chose Beauty to play Gloria for the series.
