Enchong Dee recently took a trip down memory lane, sharing a heartfelt compilation of photos with his long-time friend and former love-team partner, Erich Gonzales, on TikTok.
The post, shared on December 7, featured moments from their over a decade-long friendship, including shots of the two bonding over meals, biking, and visiting each other’s homes.
“Since ’09,” Dee captioned the post, which highlighted their enduring connection since they first worked together in the 2009 TV series ‘Katorse’.
Fans of the duo expressed their admiration for their strong platonic friendship, with many reminiscing about their iconic on-screen partnership. Several fans also expressed hopes for a future project reuniting the two.
However, some fans couldn’t help but poke fun at Dee’s choice of background music for the post—Over October’s love song “Ikot,” which features lyrics such as, “Ikaw lang at ikaw ang sinisigaw / Ng puso kong ‘di mapakali,” leading to playful comments about the pair’s undeniable chemistry.
Beyond ‘Katorse’, Dee and Gonzales also starred in films such as ‘Paano Ko Sasabihin’ (2009), ‘I Do’ (2010), and ‘Once a Princess’ (2014).
While Dee continues to be an active figure in showbiz, Gonzales has been on hiatus since her role in La Vida Lena (2022). She also married businessman Mateo Lorenzo in the same year.
Dee’s nostalgic post has rekindled excitement among fans, who continue to support both stars and look forward to seeing them together again on screen.
