Versatile host and everyone’s favorite trivia man Kim “Kuya Kim” Atienza remains a loyal Kapuso after renewing his contract with GMA Network on December 2.
Present during the contract signing were GMA Network President and CEO Gilberto R. Duavit, Jr.; Senior Vice President for Programming, Talent Management, Worldwide, and Support Group, and President of GMA Films Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes; GMA Public Affairs First Vice President Nessa Valdellon; GMA Integrated News Vice President and Deputy Head for News Programs and Specials Michelle Seva; Consultant for GMA Entertainment Group Darling de Jesus-Bodegon, and Kim Atienza’s manager, Noel Ferrer.
In 2021, Kuya Kim – through GMA Public Affairs – joined GMA Network to become part of its roster of well-loved talents and personalities. And while he considers Public Affairs as his primary home, he is proud to say he is the only Kapuso host with a program in GMA Integrated News, Public Affairs, and Entertainment. From headlining the magazine show “Dapat Alam Mo!” he also became part of top-rating flagship newscast “24 Oras,” the talk show “Mars Pa More,” and the original countdown variety show “TiktoClock.”
Widely regarded as the Philippine Trivia King, Kuya Kim shows a different side of himself in his latest public affairs show, “Dami Mong Alam, Kuya Kim,” airing Saturdays on GMA Network at 10:45 AM. Here, Kuya Kim combines humor, relatability, and expertise, delivering trivia and insights that keep viewers hooked. “Dami Mong Alam, Kuya Kim” takes viewers on a fun-filled and exciting journey of discovery – blending entertainment with mind-expanding trivia.
Privileged to be a Kapuso
Since becoming a Kapuso, Kuya Kim considers his journey to be “very enriching” so far.
“Being on GMA-7 gave me the privilege and honor to be in something that I truly love and I’m passionate about,” he shares.
GMA Network, in return, is grateful for Kuya Kim’s loyalty.
“We’re all happy na nag-renew si Kim sa atin. He’s become a true Kapuso. Sa maikling panahon, we saw the depth of the relationship that was developed,” said Duavit.

Kuya Kim only has words of gratitude for his home network, loyal fans, and fellow Kapuso.

Sa mga fans naman, magpatuloy po sana ang kanilang suporta. Bilang Kapuso, I will do my best to constantly reinvent myself and put in more passion so that I may fulfill this vocation that God has given me.
Sa mga Kapuso colleagues ko na nakatrabaho ko sa apat na shows, napakasarap ninyong kasama. Ang trabaho kasama ninyo ay hindi trabaho. Whenever I’m with you, I look forward to that working day because to me it’s not work – it’s a spirit of fun, kindness, and family na talagang damang-dama ko,” he said.
