Sleigh the Streets, the biggest Christmas Pop-Up event of the cycling community, takes over Paseo de Roxas on December 7 and 8, from 7 AM to 8 PM.

This festive gathering is organized by mobility groups AltMobility, Esteban Cycling Community, Esguerra Cycling Community, and First Bike Ride, in partnership with Ayala Land and Make It Makati.

The event will feature over 30 pop-up booths, offering a wide range of food, drinks, bicycles, apparel, and merchandise. It promises to be a celebration of mobility and community amidst the Christmas season, with activities designed for everyone—whether you’re a cyclist or someone looking for holiday vibes.

For those interested in active mobility, workshops will be held throughout the weekend. On December 7 at 7 AM, Bicycle Friendly Philippines and Pinay Bike Commuter Community will host cycling lessons. The following day, OneTech Mobility Hub will provide tutorials on electric kick scooters, making it an ideal opportunity for anyone eager to try out active transportation.

The event will also highlight the rich history and unique architecture of Makati through walking and bike tours. WanderManila will lead a Walking Tour of Makati starting at 8 AM while Brutalist Pilipinas, in partnership with Convenience Coffeehouse will launch a self-guided tour of Brutalist buildings in Makati. On December 8 at 7 AM, Renacimiento Manila will host a Manila Heritage Bike Tour.

A highlight on Sunday, December 8, will be a curated exhibition by bicycle mechanic Marlowe Apeles, also known as Budol Buddy, who will showcase a collection of custom bike builds. For younger visitors, Kick2Pedal will offer a balance bike experience, ensuring fun for everyone. Throughout the weekend, live music will be provided by Leisure MNL.

The celebration doesn’t stop there. On Sunday evening at 5 PM, the cycling community will come together for a year-end gathering featuring games, music, and merriment.

Attendees can also check out bicycles, e-bikes, and electric kick scooters from brands such as Bambike, Bikeary, Built Cycles, Nakto, i-Wheels, Kick2Pedal, Popcycle, and Traction.

Foodies can indulge in a variety of offerings from must-try shops such as b’s Patiserrie, Binibeani Cafe, HottuDoggu, Koko’s Hut, Leisure MNL, ManokoLoco Grill, Ramen-ya and Ugly Mug. Coffee lovers will enjoy selections from Kohi, Kombi Brew, Solid Ground Coffee House, Stay Up Espresso Bar, Sulok Coffee and Wknd Coffee Co.

For your holiday shopping, there’s no shortage of options; there are local shops like 44Zero5, Baybayin Bags, Courier, Extasis Outdoors, Groundwork, Magdamag and Friends, Pucha Creations, Reiss Cycling Apparel, Sack It!, and Sinag Packs.

Admission to Sleigh the Streets is free. Bring your family, friends – and even pets to enjoy the weekend. Don’t miss this chance to start your holiday celebration and slay the streets at Makati’s Paseo de Roxas!
