Actress Barbie Imperial has firmly denied allegations of being a “third party” in a relationship, responding to a netizen’s comment accusing her of being the reason for another couple’s separation.
In a recent Instagram post, a netizen criticized the actress, saying, “Anong klase ng babae ka? Hindi ko matanggap. Pinaka ayoko sa lahat is yung third party. Kahit saan mo tingnan, hindi pa annulled yung mag-asawa pero andyan ka na.”
The netizen did not name anyone in the comment, but Barbie immediately fired back. “Anong third party pinagsasabi mo?” the actress replied, clearly refuting the claim.
Barbie has been rumored to be romantically involved with Kapamilya actor Richard Gutierrez, whose marriage to Sarah Lahbati is reportedly undergoing annulment. The two were first spotted together at a bar in Alabang in January 2024, sparking speculation about their relationship.
Richard, however, has come to Barbie’s defense, denying that she was the cause of his separation from Sarah. “She’s not a third party, hindi nag-overlap,” Richard clarified in a past statement.
Richard and Sarah Lahbati, who tied the knot in 2020, have two children, Zion and Kai. The actor confirmed that their marriage is in the process of annulment, putting to rest rumors of infidelity as the reason for their separation.
