Dawn Chang remains silent and seemingly unbothered despite being publicly called out by Kapamilya star Chie Filomeno over remarks she made during a recent interview.

The controversy started when Dawn appeared on the online show ‘The Men’s Room’ and shared an anecdote about a past conflict with a fellow celebrity. She hinted that the celebrity in question shared the same initials as veteran entertainment columnist Cristy Fermin, fueling speculation that she was referring to Chie.

“Oh bakit nahiya ka pa pangalanan ako @thedawnchang? About the rehearsal, that NEVER happened. At alam ng prod sa Showtime yun,” Chie tweeted, adding that the production team could vouch for her.
Chie also accused Dawn of lying and encouraged her to move on. “Naka-move on na lahat. Andoon pa din si ate mo Dawn. 2025 na, tumigil ka na kung hindi mo kaya mag name drop. Last ko na to,” she posted.
Instead of addressing Chie’s remarks directly, Dawn opted for a low-key approach. Shortly after Chie’s posts gained attention, Dawn shared a seemingly unrelated update on social media, flaunting her new lash extensions with the caption: “Best. Lash Extensions. Ever.”
Her post has been interpreted by netizens as a subtle indication that she is unbothered by the issue, leaving fans speculating about her stance on the matter.
