Rumors have been circulating that ‘It’s Showtime’ host Karylle is expecting her first child after six years of waiting.
However, showbiz insider Ogie Diaz has expressed skepticism about the speculation.
During the latest episode of Showbiz Updates on January 11, Ogie addressed the topic, saying the information might not be credible.
“Sana nga totoo ‘yan. E, kaya lang hindi pa gano’n ka-reliable,” Ogie remarked.
Co-host Mama Loi also pointed out the absence of any confirmation from Karylle herself, saying:
“Saka nagtataka nga ‘yong mga tao. Kung totoong buntis si Karylle, ba’t daw di ina-announce sa ‘Showtime?’”
Ogie responded, suggesting that Karylle might prefer to keep the news private. “Na gusto na lang ni Karylle na hayaan n’yong lumaki ang tiyan ko. Tapos, habang lumalaki ‘yan, do’n n’yo lang mahahalata,” he speculated.
Despite the ongoing chatter, Ogie warned viewers against trusting unverified social media reports, emphasizing the importance of credible sources.
As of now, Karylle has not made any public statements regarding the pregnancy rumors.
Karylle and her husband, musician Yael Yuzon, have been married since March 21, 2014, when they tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at the San Antonio de Padua Church in Silang, Cavite. The couple renewed their vows in March 2024, celebrating their decade-long union with a private lunch reception.
With fans eagerly awaiting updates, many remain hopeful that the couple will soon confirm the good news if true.
