Kapamilya heartthrob Piolo Pascual surprised fans with a candid revelation during his guest appearance on Toni Talks, the YouTube show of actress-host Toni Gonzaga.
The Ultimate Leading Man admitted that he has been single for 13 years and is content with his relationship status.
“Ang tagal na, eh. ‘Di ko na alam ‘yung lovelife, eh,” Piolo quipped, eliciting laughter from Toni. Despite being one of the most sought-after actors in the industry, Piolo said that having a relationship is not currently on his radar.
Piolo shared that he has grown accustomed to his single lifestyle.
“Sinabi sa akin ni Pastor Julius ‘yun, ‘The more you stay single, the more you’re gonna enjoy it, the more you’re not gonna look for it,’” he revealed.
Toni was visibly shocked to learn that Piolo has been single for over a decade. “Thirteen years?!” she exclaimed. Piolo laughed and explained, “Lovelife ko talaga ‘yung trabaho ko, eh.”
When asked if he was avoiding commitment, Piolo responded, “Not for now,” prompting Toni to tease him, “PJ, are you 21 years old?”
Piolo described the qualities he looks for in a future partner: “Christian muna. Family-oriented, siyempre, dapat ‘yung mabait. Hindi full of herself. Hindi ‘yung ‘me, myself, and I.’”
When Toni pressed him on his physical type, Piolo jokingly said, “Someone like you,” which prompted laughter from both.

“Hindi mo ako sinagot,” Piolo shared with a grin.
Toni laughed and responded, “Ewan ko sa ‘yo, PJ! Para kang tanga. Nu’ng time naman na ‘yun, parang tanga naman ‘tong si PJ!”
Piolo, who remains one of the country’s most eligible bachelors, emphasized that he is currently focused on his career, family, and friendships.
