Actress Andi Eigenmann and professional surfer Philmar Alipayo recently got new tattoos together, weeks after being embroiled in a cheating controversy involving Alipayo’s friend, Swedish photographer Pernilla Sjoö.
A video of their tattoo session was shared by Island Tattoo Piercing Studio, a popular shop in Siargao, where the couple is based. The clip showed Eigenmann and Alipayo getting inked while their children, Lilo and Koa, watched and enjoyed the moment.
“Another tattoo session with the power couple @andieigengirl & @chepoxz! We couldn’t be more stoked to have them back together with Lilo & Koa,” the tattoo studio captioned the post.
While details about their tattoos remain undisclosed, the video showed a printed design resembling palm leaves, sparking speculation about their significance.
The couple’s decision to publicly share their tattoo session has led to speculation among netizens, with some suggesting it could be a statement following the controversy surrounding Pernilla Sjoö.
Previously, Eigenmann revealed that Alipayo and Sjoö got matching tattoos of “224”, which allegedly stood for “Today, Tomorrow, Forever.” The revelation fueled public backlash against Sjoö, with accusations of her being a “homewrecker.”
Although Alipayo later apologized and reconciled with Eigenmann, many see their latest tattoo session as a way to put the issue behind them.
“Para kay Pernilla ba ‘yang tattoo na ‘yan? Hahaha! Sige, PDA pa more!” one commenter wrote.
Others expressed relief that the couple has worked through their challenges and remained together.

In a separate Instagram post, Andi Eigenmann shared the deep personal meaning behind her new palm leaf tattoo, revealing that it is a tribute to her late mother, Jaclyn Jose, just days before the actress’ first death anniversary.
“Finally got my palm leaf in honor of my nanay, just days before her 1st death anniversary,” Eigenmann wrote.
She explained that the tattoo represents key values her mother embodied, including:
Strength – “Amidst life’s many challenges, she always remained strong. The most admirable thing about her.”
Victory – “Her dedication to evolving in her art was a testament to her passion. What a privilege to have this woman as my mother.”
Eternal Life – “She will always and forever live in me.”
Eigenmann reflected on how she has learned to appreciate life more deeply, recognizing it as the greatest gift her mother gave her.
“There is no better way than to take a good look at this life that she gave me and to continue to treasure and cherish it by living it the best way I know how—just as she would always want me to.”
