Actress and singer Arci Muñoz has openly admitted to undergoing cosmetic procedures on her face and revealed that she has some regrets about her decisions.
In her candid interview with Boy Abunda on ‘Fast Talk with Boy Abunda’ aired Friday, March 21, 2025, Arci did not hesitate when asked about her transformation.
“Tito naman, obvious ba? OG na OG na nga ako diyan. Napapagod na nga rin ako. Sobrang pagod na ako!” she said, laughing, when asked about the noticeable changes in her appearance.
Muñoz, whose full name is Ramona Cecilia Datuin Muñoz and affectionately known as “Mona,” shared that while she once saw her aesthetic changes as a way to express herself and reinvent her image, she eventually realized the downsides.
“Actually, may reason kung bakit nangyari sa akin ‘tong mga ito. Kasi may mga regrets din ako pagdating diyan,” she said. “Pero sinabi ko talaga sa sarili ko, ‘God has a purpose because I learned.’”
She added that her experiences have taught her valuable lessons, which she now uses to advise others who are considering cosmetic surgery.
“When someone approaches me and they’re like, ‘Mona, should I do this? Should I do that?’ I’m like, if I think they don’t really need to do it, ‘No, girl. Huwag talaga. You’ll regret it,’” she said.
Arci also humorously admitted to being asked frequently about her nose. “Palagi ang itinatanong, ‘Saan ka nagpaayos ng nose?’ Sabi ko, ‘Marami e… alin kaya dun? Anong version?’” she joked, implying she had undergone several procedures.
She explained that her previous decisions stemmed from spontaneity and a desire to keep reinventing herself, especially during her early years in showbiz.
“Dati kasi talaga black eyeshadow ako. Tapos kapag tinitingnan ko yung mga picture ko, ‘Oh my gosh, why did I do that?’” she said.
Reflecting on her past choices, Arci acknowledged that she did not have anyone to guide her at the time.
“Wala kasing nag-guide sa akin kasi nga matigas ang ulo ko so I do whatever I want,” she admitted.
When asked if she had any regrets, she answered: “If I can go back to that time when I didn’t touch anything, I would go back there. Yeah.”
Still, with a mix of humor and acceptance, she added: “Pero since I already did it, I’m never gonna stop!”
Despite her past regrets, the actress shared that she is now happy with her current appearance. “Okay na ako dito. Masayang-masaya, okay na ako… Ay, siguro ito… charot! Wala, okay na talaga.”
