South Korean actor and singer Seo In-Guk recently embarked on an adventure across the Philippines, sharing his experiences through his latest YouTube vlog.
His visit to Cebu and Boracay comes shortly after being named the Philippines’ celebrity tourism ambassador for South Korea, in partnership with the Department of Tourism (DOT).

Seo In-Guk kicked off his Philippine adventure in Cebu, where he took part in scuba diving, parasailing, and speed boating.
“I’m here in Cebu, Philippines. I’m here to experience scuba diving with my company CEO,” he shared in his vlog, expressing excitement about returning to the country.
Having previously tried scuba diving, the South Korean star was eager to relive the experience.
“I really enjoyed it last time, so I came here in a rush,” he admitted.
While exploring Cebu’s vibrant marine ecosystem, he marveled at the stunning underwater scenery.

“I highly recommend scuba diving if you come to Cebu. It’s amazing. Such an exciting experience every time. It’s beautiful [underwater],” he said, urging fans to try the activity.
The actor then faced his fear of heights through parasailing. Despite initial nerves, he described the experience as exhilarating.
“It was scary at first, but I feel very secure now… Please try this if you come to Cebu. It’s fantastic,” he encouraged viewers.
His Cebu adventure ended with a thrilling speed boating session, which he enjoyed immensely.
“It was so fun. That was great,” he exclaimed.
After Cebu, Seo In-Guk visited Boracay, one of the Philippines’ top island destinations.
His itinerary included a round of golf, a sunset yacht cruise, and a meet-and-greet with Filipino fans. He also indulged in Filipino cuisine, trying sinigang and sisig, and participated in the crystal kayak activity at Station 1.

Fans were thrilled to see Seo In-Guk enjoying his time in the Philippines.
“I’m so happy you’re having a fun time in my home country!” one fan commented.
“What a beautiful place! You are doing a fab job at showing Cebu’s beauties to the world, Mr. Ambassador. Thanks for sharing your time off with us,” another wrote.
Seo In-Guk’s visit follows his official appointment as the Philippines’ Celebrity Tourism Ambassador for South Korea, a role confirmed in a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony attended by DOT Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco, Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) COO Maria Margarita Montemayor Nograles, and Neocolors Production and Advertising Inc.
During the ceremony, Seo In-Guk expressed gratitude and excitement over his new role.
“I really feel a big responsibility as a representative of and as a promoter for one country. I really want to thank everyone for making this happen for me, and I really want to say that I will give back all the love that you gave to me and I will be someone to promote the Philippines to others in the future. Thank you very much. Mahal ko kayo,” he said.
