GMA Network Senior Vice President Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes has expressed optimism about more collaborations with ABS-CBN following her attendance at the 2025 ABS-CBN Ball held last weekend.
Representing the GMA Network management at the star-studded event, Atty. Gozon-Valdes highlighted the growing synergy between the two major TV networks and acknowledged the success of their recent joint projects.
“I am very happy that we’ve had many collaborations, and I am really looking forward to more collaborations in the future,” she said in an interview aired on ’24 Oras’ on April 5.
The historic partnership between GMA Network and ABS-CBN has already produced several milestone projects. These include the hit primetime series ‘Unbreak My Heart’, which brought together stars from both networks such as Jodi Sta. Maria, Joshua Garcia, Gabbi Garcia, and Richard Yap; and the airing of ABS-CBN’s noontime show ‘It’s Showtime’ on GMA Netwprk, replacing ‘Eat Bulaga’ in its timeslot.
Another record-breaking joint venture was ‘Hello, Love, Again’—the box-office sequel starring Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards—produced by Star Cinema and GMA Pictures under the direction of Cathy Garcia-Molina.
Currently, the two networks are collaborating on the latest season of ‘Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Edition Collab’, which has been gaining traction among viewers.
Joining Atty. Gozon-Valdes at the ABS-CBN Ball were fellow GMA Network and Sparkle executives, including Sparkle First Vice President Joy Marcelo and Senior Talent Manager Tracy Garcia. Kapuso stars like Heart Evangelista, Michelle Dee, Mavy Legaspi, and Ashley Ortega also graced the event, highlighting the growing camaraderie between talents from both networks.
