Star Magic artist Donny Pangilinan is earning widespread praise on social media after quietly extending help to fire victims in a local barangay.
A netizen named Kevin Mendoza took to X (formerly Twitter) to share how the Kapamilya actor showed genuine concern for families who lost their homes in a recent fire.
“Big shoutout kay @donnypangilinan! Grabe, our barangay is facing a really tough time ngayon dahil sa sunog, some families literally lost everything, as in naabo ang bahay,” Mendoza posted.
He further emphasized Donny’s sincerity: “Pero Donny came through, walang kaartehan, walang campaign, just pure malasakit.”
Donny not only donated food and water but also brought brand new mattress foams for the victims.
“He personally brought so many new foams para may maayos na higaan ang mga biktima, and also loads of essentials for their personal needs,” Mendoza shared.
