The ‘Incognito’ cast gathered for a mid-season media conference to unveil the series’ most explosive mission yet—shot in the snow-covered landscapes of Yamagata, Japan.
In a special trailer preview, fans got a glimpse of high-octane action scenes that pushed both the cast and crew to their limits.
For lead stars Richard Gutierrez and Daniel Padilla, seeing the trailer made all the sacrifices worth it. Richard shared the challenges of filming in Japan for two weeks, emphasizing how the freezing conditions in Yamagata added complexity but also authenticity to the story.
Daniel, tackling the action genre for the first time, revealed that the role helped him get to know himself better. “Ang maganda sa genre na ito ay mas nakilala ko ang sarili ko,” he shared, visibly proud of his growth.
Maris Racal, who shares scenes with veteran actor Joel Torre, opened up about speaking in Hiligaynon and Ilonggo in the series.
Anthony Jennings admitted to feeling nervous during the Japan shoot. “May times tinatanong ko si direk if kaya ba, pero nung nakita ko now, kinaya naman,” he said with a laugh.
Kaila Estrada, meanwhile, joked about her commitment to the shoot: “Kinaya naman ng bangs ko lahat. Fulfilling lang talaga.” On her dynamic with co-stars JB (Richard) and Andres (Daniel), she added, “Yung pagiging leader ni JB and pagiging decisive ni Andres—siguro ‘yung mga characteristics na ‘yun may similarities sa character ko kaya nagji-jive sila.”
Baron Geisler reflected on his six-month journey with the show: “Blended na kami. Kilala ko na rin ‘yung character ko. Super thankful ako sa crew for always guiding me.”
Creative Manager Jay Fernando also teased the importance of the new arc, particularly the El Cano plot, which he described as “integral to the lives of the Kontraks.” He also addressed fan theories on the true identity of Jun, saying, “Happy kami as a creative team na engaged ang viewers. Kita naman sa trailer na may big development sa quest ni Andres sa paghahanap sa kapatid niya, so abangan na lang.”
With breathtaking visuals, emotional stakes, and intense character development, ‘Incognito’ promises to raise the bar even higher in the episodes ahead.
