Drag artist Bianca Castro, popularly known as Jiggly Caliente, is stepping back from public engagements after a severe infection led to the amputation of most of her right leg.
In a statement released on Jiggly’s social media accounts on April 24, her family shared that the ‘Drag Race Philippines’ judge has been facing a serious health battle over the past month.
“Due to a severe infection, she was hospitalized and, as a result, has undergone the loss of most of her right leg,” the family disclosed. They further announced that Jiggly will not participate in any public appearances, including the upcoming season of Drag Race Philippines, as she focuses on an extensive recovery.
The family requested privacy during this challenging time, encouraging friends, fans, and the community to send messages of hope and support.
“Bianca’s family and drag house are deeply grateful for the continued outpouring of support, strength, and prayers,” the statement concluded.

The upcoming Season 4 of ‘Drag Race Philippines’ will move forward with its ‘Slaysian Royale’ All-Stars edition featuring drag artists from across Asia, but will do so without one of its beloved mainstay judges.
