Tensions ran high between Vice Ganda and close friend MC Muah Calaquian during a candid and emotional moment in the comedian’s latest YouTube vlog, filmed during their group vacation in Coron, Palawan.
The vlog, posted on May 22, 2025, featured Vice and his circle of comedy-bar friends—including MC, Chad Kinis, Lassy Marquez, and Tonton—enjoying a beachfront getaway. But a fun ‘Q&A’ segment took an unexpected turn when Vice used the moment to air his frustrations with MC.
“Buwisit ako sa’yo, eh!” Vice said bluntly, though with a half-smile, before laying out why he was upset.
“Walang sense of oneness. Hindi marunong makisama.”
Vice pointed out specific incidents where the group had to wait for MC, including the day he slept for hours after their arrival and another instance where he took too long to shower, causing delays in their group plans.
“Di ba, dapat iniisip mo yun? Na may mga kasama ka na, ‘Ay, nandun sila, nag-aantay sila tapos ako wala pa.’”
The confrontation left MC visibly emotional, with tears welling up as he attempted to explain himself.
“Promise… lagi kong gustong pakita yung best ko sa ‘yo pag kasama kita,” he told Vice, before asking, “Pero bakit sa amin lahat, kay Lassy, ako yung madalas mong napapagalitan?”
Vice clarified that he’s the only one among their group willing to call out MC’s behavior, adding: “Ako lang yung sumisita sa’yo. Kasi lahat naman sila, hindi ka sisitahin. So kung hindi ko pinaramdam sa’yo na ang off nung eksena mo, gagawin mo ‘yun lagi.”
He went on to emphasize the purpose of their trip—to reconnect and make time for one another beyond their work schedules: “Ang tagal na nating hindi nagkakasama. Nagkakasama lang tayo sa trabaho. Ta’s pag nagkasama tayo, matutulog ka nang matagal? Maliligo ka nang matagal? Di ba, nakakairita?”
Despite the tension, the heartfelt exchange ended on a reconciliatory note, with MC acknowledging his lapses and telling Vice, “Teh, okay na tayo.” To which Vice replied: “Ako, okay ako. Gusto ko lang mag-develop ‘yung pakikiisa, pakikisama.”
He then added: “So, ‘yun ang dahilan kung bakit ayaw kitang mapanaginipan. Dahil nainis ako sa’yo.”
The confrontation highlighted the depth of their friendship—marked by honesty, accountability, and ultimately, forgiveness. The vlog ended with the group hugging it out, showing that real friendships are built not just on laughs, but on hard conversations, too.
