Actress Julia Montes shared candid insights about her long-time relationship with actor Coco Martin in a recent interview with journalist Karen Davila on her YouTube channel.
When asked whether they’ve ever come close to breaking up, Julia admitted that misunderstandings are part of any relationship—but emphasized that mutual respect is what keeps them together.
“Nung bagets ako, insecure. Coco Martin is Coco Martin, maraming umaaligid, alam niyo na kung sino kayo,” she said with a hint of humor.
“Pero iba ang values ni Coco. Si Coco ang nag-secure sa akin. Siya, trabaho tapos uwi, tapos lahat ng bagay ikinukuwento naman niya sa akin,” she added, expressing admiration for her partner’s consistency and transparency.
Julia also revealed that both she and Coco are naturally calm, which helps them resolve disagreements without resorting to fights.
“Hindi kami nagsisigawan. Calm kami pareho,” she shared.
Their bond, she said, goes beyond romance.
“Talagang mag-best friends kami kaya wala ako dapat i-worry.”
Both stars are currently busy with separate projects—Coco Martin continues to lead ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,’ while Julia Montes stars in ‘Saving Grace.’
