It was a night of music, pride, and powerful mentorship as ‘Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11’ Big Winner Fyang Smith officially launched her debut album, ‘Forever Fyang’, at the New Frontier Theater on Sunday, June 22.

Fans packed the venue in support of the rising star, who treated the crowd to energetic live performances of tracks from her new album. Among the highlights was a sweet duet with fellow ‘PBB’ housemate JM Ibarra, as they sang ‘Tayo Hanggang Dulo’ to the delight of the audience.
Fyang was also joined onstage by her former housemates Kai Montinola, Rain Celmar, Kolette Madelo, and Jarren Garcia, who added more excitement to the evening with their performances.
Adding prestige to the event was no less than Asia’s Songbird, Ms. Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, who appeared as a special guest. While the two didn’t share a duet that evening, Regine gave a heartfelt message and advice to the young star.

“Singing is a new thing for you. Ang pagkanta is a skill, kung isasapuso mo at isasaisip mo ang pag-practice, puwede kang maging magaling na magaling na magaling na singer,” said Regine, emphasizing the importance of dedication and passion in honing one’s talent.
She added, “And since you were given the opportunity to do this—alam mo hindi lahat nabibigyan ng opportunity to record an album, to do a show—so kailangan lang nating isaisip at isapuso lahat ng mga gagawin natin para lahat sila maging happy lagi.”
Fyang expressed her gratitude to Regine for gracing her event, calling the Songbird’s presence and support an honor. Regine, in turn, thanked both Fyang and JM Ibarra for starring in her music videos for ‘Wherever You Are’ and ‘Crazy For You’, tracks from her ‘Reginified’ album.
The album launch also served as a reunion of sorts, celebrating the creative synergy between Regine and the younger stars. Fans can look forward to seeing more from Fyang and JM, as the two are set to headline the upcoming iWant Original Series ‘Ghosting’, which will premiere on the refreshed iWant platform in July 2025.
