Vice Ganda is not here for misinterpretations.
The Unkabogable Star recently came under fire after posting a heartfelt message of support for evicted ‘Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition’ housemate Klarisse de Guzman, prompting some fans to accuse the comedian of indirectly throwing shade at other celebrity housemates still in the competition.
“Now that Klarisse is out of the ‘PBB’ house it’s time na we really start supporting this brilliant talent,” Vice posted on X (formerly Twitter).
Dahil deserve nya. Di dapat masayang!”
While many praised Vice’s support for Klarisse, others took issue with his remarks. One netizen responded, claiming his post implied favoritism and invalidated other housemates’ efforts, especially those in popular love teams. “May shade talaga?! We love them because they’re real… Di lahat ng tao perfect but believe in those who did everything to correct their mistake!” the netizen wrote.
Vice Ganda didn’t hold back in defending himself.
“San galing ang tweet mo? Sinong shinade ko? Sinong housemate ang pinaglalaban mong shinade ko?” he asked. “Alam mo ba ung shade? Yung totoo? Naunawaan mo ba ung tweet? Mahina ang pangintindi?”
He also warned overly emotional fans not to cause trouble that could hurt their own idols.
Even PBB host Bianca Gonzalez stepped in, apologizing to Vice for the fans’ reaction: “I’m sorry na pati ikaw inaaway ng fans!!!!
Despite the backlash, Vice’s message to Klarisse remained rooted in admiration.
“Congratulations Klarisse! I have always been proud of you… I love you Klang!”
Still, Vice stood firm: his post was not about tearing others down, but about celebrating an underrated talent he believes in.
